proposing the following content for his talk:
“This is a very practical session to encourage and train the audience in:
• how to listen out and capture test ideas
• how to perform paired test design
• use of common test design techniques
• techniques for prioritising tests
The audience will take part in a mock design meeting, where they will be asked
to identify test ideas and evolve those ideas into a suite of tests, using a
variety of techniques and tools. They will be challenged to look at how this
could be fed back to improve the design of the system. There will be a minimal
presentation and the participants would be expected to feedback on their
findings. The audience is expected to comprise of developers, testers, project
manager and non technical people, working together to learn and enjoy.
The outcomes are:
• a better understanding of the positive input testing can have
• practical skills in how to design tests
• how to adapt practices to meet the different demand in agile
• how testing can improve the overall quality of the product
to expose the naked truth of testing in an agile environment.”
