2010 Newsletter -
Issue 2
|
|
Director's Welcome
I am delighted to introduce our second
newsletter for 2010 and share some of the exciting developments
within Experimentus and the Industry.
IT process efficiency across the Software
Development Lifecycle remains a top priority for our customers
and despite the recent economic conditions, we
have seen a steady improvement across our key territories for
our Assessment & Certification solution, in particular our work
with the Testing Maturity Model integrated (TMMi). The adoption of the model has increased
worldwide and we have responded by establishing a joint venture for the Indian
market with PureTesting. Our joint venture, Purementus, is actively working
with both captives wanting to implement defect prevention strategies as well as
an increasing uptake from the large IT services providers wanting to demonstrate
their Test and Quality process capability through TMMi certification. Read

Experimentus e-Survey Product Launch
The cost of managing quality is well known to be
reflected in the amount of rework undertaken, which can account for up to 50% of
project costs. Martin Adcock, Managing Director of Experimentus, attributes this
to organisations not building in quality early enough into the development
lifecycle. “We have seen many organisations spending their time doing a lot of
day to day fire fighting to get applications into production, often requiring a
hero culture. Organisations believing that identifying process weaknesses
across the testing lifecycle is a costly and time consuming activity which
detracts from delivery. To help our
clients identify good practices and areas for improvement without significant
investment in time or cost, we have
created an e-Survey".
Covering
all parts of the Testing lifecycle irrespective of methodology used and being
highly scalable means that part of or the whole organisation can be assessed.
Recipients include not only testing but development, project management,
support, analysts and other parts of the lifecycle.
Contact
us for a confidential and detailed discussion on how you can benefit from an
e-Survey.

Testimonials
“The Experimentus TMMi
Survey has provided us with valuable insight into our existing
testing operations, and has enabled us to implement
consistent operational delivery processes across the
business. This has been a cornerstone to our growing
success in the testing marketplace”.
Stefan Van Overtveldt,
Chief Engineer. Mastek
"I have been using Experimentus services on
the Thomson Reuters Eikon program, for 18 months. They initially
performed an Audit on our performance testing strategy, and then
after implemented some mitigation actions that they suggested.
The people there have demonstrated a very good level of skills,
a rigorous approach, high dedication and exceptional
adaptability to changes and unexpected events. They have been
able to work with all internal and external teams in an
efficient way, always bringing very constructive feedback, with
easy to implement action plans. I highly recommend Experimentus
who have been a key player in the success of our program".
Joël Masset, Global Head of Quality Assurance. S & T Desktop
