Reporting achievement back to the client

TAMAR states that the output report need only show the overall maturity level rating for the organisation. However, it also states that the report must be in line with the objectives set out at the start of the assessment.

If the objectives of the assessment defined by the Sponsor state that detailed information is required to drive process improvement, more information than just the overall Maturity Level may be required to back up the assessment ratings.

The Process Area scores can be show in the form of a graph, one form of which is shown below.

This helps to illustrate how close the organisational unit is to achieving a successful rating and provides a high level view of stronger and weaker areas.
